dissonance

Dissonance - a tension or clash resulting from the combination of disharmonious or unsuitable elements.
Pulling back the curtain on implied, intended, acceptable, obvious or otherwise forms of deceit. walking around knowing that you know things about yourself that you cant or wont remember. what would it look like to paint a self portrait in colors that obviously do not work with each other and then color correct it using projection so that the viewer is presented with something that was "right"? what is real? the harvard rothko paintings as they are when the projectors are turned off or when they are "corrected" to give the viewer a sense of what they would had seen, had the curtains been kept drawn in the banquet hall? these zombie paintings being brought back to life is like saying gigi gorgeous is only her true self after the makeup tutorial is finished.

so the time lapses into selfie land.
the eagle and the raven flew in sync this morning
i got to look through the cereal box today and got to glimpse mawmaw as she did her best to stand between us and the fire
no one argued with her because you just dont argue with old women
she pulls oceans
she pulls my water
she makes a shadow and cools the day
she pleases herself
she both reflects and blocks
she's mawmaw after awe
tempering the temperature
my tattoo is grateful
it is amazing what blocking out just a little of the sun can do about the heat
